Over the past six months, the New Horizons DACH (Germany, Austria and Switzerland) franchise network has grown significantly, with the signing of five new franchise contracts. These are:

  • Austria: The current owners of several German New Horizons franchise locations have expanded and opened their first Austrian New Horizons Center in Vienna at the end of February.
  • Germany: We look forward to a few new German markets opening their New Horizons Centers in Düsseldorf and Karlsruhe later this year.
  • Switzerland: New Horizons Zürich expanded their successful business to now include Basel and Bern. This means that all German speaking Swiss markets are now represented by this group since 1st January, 2017.

As well, the decision to implement the cloud delivered New Horizons Center Management System.Net took place in Germany in December, 2016. New Horizons of Augsburg, Ulm, Stuttgart and Saarbrucken are now all successfully using CMS.Net. Vienna and Düsseldorf will also be going live this month.

To add to the good news, for the second consecutive time, New Horizons Germany has received the Gold Award for Partner Satisfaction from the German Franchise Association, valid until 2020. This Gold Award is only given to 20 franchisors, out of almost 1000 franchisors in Germany.

“After years of restructuring, it’s very motivating to see that our increased efforts in convincing entrepreneurs to join our network has paid off,” said Stephan Scholtissek (Master Franchise DACH). “This is also our second time in a row we have received the Gold Award, and after the restructuring that has taken place over the last five years, we see this as a great achievement in our network.”

“We are delighted to see the great strides our business in the DACH region is making on these multiple fronts,” said Michael Smith, Vice President, International Franchise Operations. “I am sure the global network will join me in offering our congratulations to our DACH colleagues and wish our new Franchisees and location teams every success in 2017 and beyond.”
