At New Horizons, we take our social responsibility incredibly seriously and as a company, we aim to give back to communities across the globe in ways that truly make a difference in the lives of ordinary people.
We were proud to assist with a recent charity event in Singapore at which a staggering 20,000 SGD was raised. An art auction, street entertainers and local cuisine fueled an energetic, fun and emotional evening which also honored the memory of a young woman who tragically lost her life in February this year. Autumn Radtke was the former CEO of FirstMeta Exchange in Singapore.
The funds raised will touch the lives of hundreds of underprivileged women in Bali, through foundation BaliWISE. They provide education and life skills for disadvantaged and maligned Indonesian women.
BaliWISE CEO Mike O’Leary said the months of hard work by all concerned would make a big difference in the lives of the foundation’s students.
“With the donation we hope to produce a lasting legacy with the creation of a new library and IT lab that will allow women from disadvantaged communities across Bali the chance to gain skills vital for better careers and better lives,” he explained.
Along with organisational assistance and helping hands on the day, New Horizons donated funds, computers and IT equipment to be used in the formation of the new IT lab.
